Romancing the Rain
Rain, rain, you’re welcome to stay. I’ll buy new boots, laugh and play!
While I never heard those words come from our bride herself, Lauren’s disposition all morning long was sun-shiney bright. Knowing that rain was in the forecast, she gleefully bought a brand new pair of gray Hunter boots, which she had always wanted, and paired them with a pretty pink umbrella to match her rose bouquet. Dave, our gregarious groom was a great sport, too. He and his bride-to-be shared their first look for some beautiful Saratoga Wedding Photography in the glistening streets of just outside Universal Preservation Hall.
Just inside, so many details spoke to the importance of family and connection. The ceremony was officiated by close friend Ryan Olsen against a handmade backdrop. Lauren wore her mother’s 1973 wedding gown re-envisioned as a modern tea length dress and Grandma’s crocheted doily wrapped the base of Lauren’s bouquet.
In the end, Lauren and Dave twirled among their guests and shared in lots of photo booth fun in a celebration that went on long after we left.
Congratulations, Lauren & Dave!
May you delight in eachother’s hearts for the rest of your lives, in stormy weather as much as full sun!

Thanks to all who made this celebration so special…
