When famed literary theorist Jean Baudrillard passed away, I wrote a memorial for Brain Drain, my literary blog. In that post, I demonstrated through the flurry of Baudrillard’s repeated news obituaries, that his theory “The Precession of the Simulacra” was playing out – in his name. This post was picked up by the International Journal of Baudrillared Studies and included in their special issue, Vol4-3, “Remembering Baudrillard.”
